How to be a 'Happy' person?
Well, its kind of simple actually...
Everyone can grasp it pretty easily...
Just close your eyes, look at the typically calm and 'tranquil' black space right in front of you, and take some deep breaths...Forget those circumstances you're facing and try working up a smile...remember the great times you had with your friends/families...
There you go, you're now a little happier!
Remember...Happiness begins from the inside of you, think happy and you will be happy!
100% Guaranteed!
Well, its quite obvious right? Happy people apparently think happy thoughts? That's Human Beings for you...missing out on what is apparent and obvious.(Including me >.<) I'd say I'm trying to get there(being a happy person), but well...problems are only temporary, why should I dwell on them and stress myself ? I can do so much more when I'm happy anyway!
*Edit* Thanks Adzreen for pointing out my error in the spelling of Guaranteed(correct) as Garunteed(wrong).
This will be the very 1st post for this blog! Yay! Hurray! Please give your comments as I do want to hear from you ! As mentioned in the title, this was composed during the 1st common test of the year and I do hope you like it! Read on!It glittered and shone with magnificence, the cut was perfect and the make was flawless. Words would never be sufficient to ever fully describe such beauty. The family heirloom, a treasure highly coveted by all who knew of it.
This treasure of treasures was the symbol of our family's royal heritage. My great-great-grandfather was the last emperor of the 'Guang' dynasty in China, before the uprising of rebels that brought his palace down. He was forced to leave China and immigrated to Singapore. Unfortunately, he was tracked down and brutally murdered. However, not before he passed the treasure to my great grandfather and it had since been handed down from generation to generation. This was the secret that only my family knew.
We took an oath to never reveal this secret to anyone, be it a girlfriend or best friend. However, having only heard of and not seen it made me take it lightly. Thus, ignoring the oath taken at a tender young age. I told many friends about it but none believed me. Soon, I myself had been convinced that nothing that beautiful or magnificent could have existed.
Years passed, and indeed I had gotten a girlfriend. We trusted one another with our hearts and held back no secrets. I told her of my treasure even though I did not believe it existed.
The day came where I was to receive the 'treasure' as the eldest of my siblings. After years of struggling with myself on whether this treasure truly existed, this had been confirmed with my own eyes. It was magnificent and its beauty was indescribable, just as they had told me all these years.
My heart was pulsating as quick as a car's engine and I received this gift of honour. I shared this with my girlfriend on the phone that night and she sounded excited for me. Not being able to hold back my excitement, I showed it to her in my room the next day. She watched it in awe as I took it from my drawer. The rest of the day spent in my room was just talk of my treasure between me and her.
To my alarm, I could not find it anymore after she left! I rushed down to stop her from leaving, but she was already in the taxi!I could not comprehend this, such a cruel betrayal by the one I loved so much. I was overwhelmed with feelings of hatred and sorrow. So much had been lost through the mere reveal of this secret. I left home the next day, never to remember this incident and face the shame from my family.
